KNAUS Campingpark Tossens

Mobile homes

The Campingpark is located on the Jadebusen in the outer reaches of Tossens, on the peninsula Butjadingen, directly at the North Sea. Situated directly on the Friesenstrand, you will find a wonderful area for all nature lovers. For children there is a pirate beach with water and adventure playground, slide and a view tower. The guarded bathing beach "Friesenstrand" was awarded 2010 by the ILSE. It is therefore the second North Sea beach with an award.

The North Sea with its fairy tale games provides the perfect condition for a wonderful holiday at the Lower Saxony Wattenmeer National Park, which was awarded by the World Heritage Commission in 2010 as a World Heritage Site. It is one of the last original natural landscapes in Europe. The adventure trails offer the walkers peace and relaxation.

Whether you are looking for a cosy place to sit at the beach or on the lawn you will always find enough space for your dreams.  Those who are enthusiastic in sports will find pleasure in Tossens. Windsurfing, sailing, or even trend sports such as Kites are possible here.

Boat trips to the seal banks, lighthouses or day trips to Wilhelmshaven and Bremerhaven can be booked at any time. In Bremerhaven, visit the German Maritime Museum and the climate or one of the typical crab cutter harbours, such as in Fedderwardersiel. Or use the area for long bike tours along the dyke.

A 4 km long circular trail and a 2 km long nature discovery trail allow you to experience the extraordinary nature: the Langwarder Groden is best suited to observe seabirds in their natural habitat. You can also experience the emergence of a new salt meadow and the constant alternation of ebb and flood on the planned plank path. Let yourself be enchanted by the fascinating flora and fauna of the mud flat.
