Accessibility

More and more campsites are making efforts to provide suitable facilities for wheelchair users. Unless explicitly mentioned in the travel description, our offers are not suitable for persons with physical disabilities. If it is decisive for your choice whether a facility is suitable for wheelchair users, please contact our team of the booking department and we will be happy to provide you further information.

Additional tent

On some holiday campsites it is allowed to put up an extra tent next to your booked accommodation. If an extra tent is allowed, there may be additional charges for this on site and you may have to park your car elsewhere. If you wish to take an extra tent with you, this must be stated when booking. For further information please contact our booking office.

Albatross on site

On all holiday campsites with Albatross accommodation, our camp managers are available to help you with advice and assistance. The only exceptions are Marina Julia Camping Village, Jesolo Mare Camping Village, International Riccione Camping Village and Baia Verde. Here all services will be provided directly by the central reception of the campsite.

Animation

Many of our campsites offer an animation program with dance and disco evenings, mini-club, sports activities and much more. The extent of these services depends on the size of the campsite and can vary depending on the weather conditions and the number of guests. In the pre and after season, some campsites usually offer a limited program. The animation program is usually conducted in the local language.

Arrival and departure

Arrival is possible between 4 pm and 6 pm, departure between 8 am and 10 am on the day of arrival or departure. On some campsites it is possible to depart at night. However, this requires consultation with our staff on site. Every campsite has different arrival days and minimum stays depending on the season. This ranges from daily arrival and departure and a minimum stay of 2 nights in the low season to arrival and departure on Saturday with at least 7 nights in the high season. Details can be found in the respective price lists. You desire a shorter stay? In the preseason or for short-term bookings we will be happy to try to fulfil your wish. Barbecue

Do you also like to enjoy relaxed barbecue evenings with your family and new friends during your holiday? On numerous campsites you have the possibility to reserve a barbecue free of charge with your Albatross courier, subject to availability. However, this only applies if the use of a barbecue is permitted on the campsite. No open fire or campfire is allowed on all holiday campsites. If you bring your own gas barbecue, please remember that you also have to bring the gas for it yourself. When operating an electric barbecue, it is possible that the power supply on your pitch is not sufficient. Barbecuing is not permitted on the terraces of the mobile homes.

Bed linen

Save yourself unnecessary luggage! In all Albatross accommodations you can rent bed linen for a fee. Costs: Single bed linen incl. 1 towel 14,00 EUR, double bed linen incl. 2 towels 25,00 EUR. (exceptions: Bella Austria, Schluga Seecamping, Marina Julia Camping Village, Jesolo Mare Camping Village, International Riccione Camping Village, Mare e Pineta). In Germany you can only get single bed linen for 10,00 EUR per person. In the holiday homes and apartments, the initial supply of bed linen is included in the travel price.

The above-mentioned prices are valid for the initial equipment as well as for any further change.

Campsite rules

On all campsites there are house rules which are binding for all guests and which can lead to an immediate expulsion if not observed. Please observe the respective campsite rules in order to ensure a relaxing holiday for yourself and your neighbours. A refund of the travel price is excluded in the event of expulsion.

Deposit

A deposit of 100,00 EUR in cash is required when you hand over your accommodation. If there are no objections, you will receive this back in full upon departure. Please refer to the respective price tables for deviating deposit regulations.

Dogs

Out of consideration for guests with allergies, pets of all kinds are generally not allowed in our accommodations, even if they are allowed on the campsite. In Germany, Croatia, Sweden, Austria and Italy it is possible to book special accommodation on selected sites, where dogs are permitted. On which campsites you are allowed to take your dog with you, you will find the respective description. As this is only valid on request, please contact us. Don't forget to present your valid EU pet passport at the reception upon arrival.

We reserve the right to charge an additional cleaning fee of at least 150,00 EUR in case of non-registration of the dog as well as in case of contamination exceeding the usual level.

Final cleaning

On the KNAUS campsites in Germany, the final cleaning is included in the travel price of the trip. For Albatross mobile homes in Italy, Spain, Croatia and Austria an amount of 50,00 EUR for the final cleaning is added once to your travel price..

Non-Smoking

Smoking is expressly prohibited in all our accommodations. In case of non-compliance we will charge the costs for the necessary special cleaning of at least 150,00 EUR.

Parking

On many campsites you can park your car directly at your accommodation. A second car or trailer usually has to be parked in a different place and there usually you get charged an additional fee. Please inform us in advance if you wish to arrive with a second car or trailer.

Registration

On arrival, please register at the reception of the campsite by presenting your travel documents or follow the instructions on your voucher. In some facilities you can check in online before your arrival. Take the opportunity and arrive earlier in your holiday. Please note the information on your voucher or ask our team at the booking department.

Tourist tax

In Germany, Austria, Italy, Croatia, Spain and France, it is common practice for local authorities to require tourists to pay a tourist tax or a guest contribution for their stay. The amount of the fee is determined by the respective local authority and is payable locally in the national currency.

Travel insurance

AFor your own safety, you can take out a travel cancellation insurance with us with your booking, which also includes travel interruption insurance. On request you can also get the Albatross insurance package Germany or Europe.

Wellness

Treat yourself to something special during your holiday: on numerous holiday camp sites you will find relaxation for body, mind and soul with massages or wellness and beauty treatments directly on site or in the immediate vicinity. In Germany, for example, the KNAUS Campingpark Lackenhäuser will put together your personal wellness-program for you.

WiFi

On many campsites you have the possibility to use WiFi. Please refer to the description of the campsite for availability. Please also note that the strength of the network may vary depending on the location of the accommodation.

Wintercamping

The times when the camping season was limited to a few months in summer are long gone. A holiday in a modern mobile home or holiday home is great fun even - or especially - when there is ice and snow outside. At many KNAUS camping parks you can also enjoy your holiday in winter. The camping parks that are open in winter are marked accordingly.
