Whether you're on your way to or from your holiday destination, the campsite offers comfortable and convenient overnight accommodation. It is also the perfect starting point for visitors to Bundesliga football matches, the ‘Rock im Park’ festival, the DTM championships or one of the many trade fairs in Nuremberg.
A special highlight is the Spiegelpalast PALAZZO , just a few minutes away, where a top-class show is performed from November to March. The historic old town of Nuremberg is only 6 km from the KNAUS Campingpark Nuremberg and can be easily reached by public transport. A walk through the picturesque old town leads to the famous Kaiserburg, while numerous museums, cultural events and attractions ensure a variety of experiences. The Nuremberg Zoo and the extensive pedestrian zone with its many shops, restaurants and cafés are particularly popular.
When visiting the old town, you must not miss the world-famous Nuremberg bratwurst and traditional gingerbread. These regional delicacies are known far beyond the city limits and give your visit a special touch.
Another highlight for visitors to the KNAUS Campingpark Nuremberg are the many day trip destinations in the region. Franconian Switzerland is particularly popular, with its bizarre rock formations and picturesque hiking trails inspiring nature lovers and adventurers alike. Families can look forward to a variety of amusement parks in the area, such as the Kristall Palm Beach in Stein (12 km), the Erlebnispark Schloss Thurn (50 km), the Tucherland in Nuremberg (11 km) or the Playmobil FunPark in Zirndorf (22 km). Racing fans should not miss out on Carrera World, right next to the camping park – 2,200 m² of pure racing fun await you!
