The family-run and well-kept four-star Rio Vantone is located on the western shore of Lake Idro in the picturesque Valle Sabbia. The lesser-known little brother of Lake Garda offers its guests not only crystal-clear water and unspoilt nature, but also a variety of opportunities for water sports enthusiasts, hikers and mountain bikers.
The Surfpoint Vantone is located directly at the campsite and, in addition to surfing courses for beginners and advanced surfers, also offers stand-up paddling boards, sailing boats and pedal boats for hire. The private pebble beach with sunbathing lawn is a great place to relax after sports. Only 20 minutes from the campsite is a unique climbing and canyoning area. In the high season, exciting tours for the whole family are offered here almost daily.
The nearby village of Crone with its historic buildings, small shops and restaurants invites you to take a relaxed stroll and taste typical specialities of the region. On Rio Vantone, you can also enjoy classic Italian cuisine in the camp's own restaurant and end your holiday with a glass of wine or a fruity cocktail at the Vantú bar.
Enjoy the beautiful landscape and unique nature at Lake Idro. The mountainous area is a true paradise, especially for hiking and climbing enthusiasts, and you can choose between different routes with varying degrees of difficulty. In the high season, the campsite even organises guided tours of the surrounding area. Mountain bikers and water sports enthusiasts will also find the best conditions for practising their sport around Lake Idro.
Lovers of art and culture also get their money's worth in the Valle Sabbia: numerous churches and monasteries all over the region bear witness to their prosperity even in times gone by. For example, enjoy the spectacular panorama from the pilgrimage church Madonna delle Rocca in Sabbio Chiesa, only 20km away.
Don't miss a visit to Brescia, one of the most beautiful cities in Lombardy. In the picturesque old town with its extensive pedestrian zone, you can easily explore several millennia of architectural history on foot in a very small space: Here you can see temples from Roman times, early Christian churches, medieval defence towers and impressive Renaissance buildings
