The nearby water playground on the castle island is a real highlight for our younger guests. Here, children can romp around to their heart's content and enjoy nature. At the same time, the KNAUS Campingpark Lübben offers the perfect balance between rest and relaxation and the lively city life of the nearby district town, so that both families and those seeking peace and quiet get their money's worth.
Nature lovers can experience the beauty of the region up close in the UNESCO Spreewald Biosphere Reserve . The camping park is also a paradise for water hikers: the nearby Spreelagune, just 500 metres away, offers a beautiful natural swimming area and a canoe landing stage, ideal as a starting point for unforgettable canoe tours through the picturesque canals of the Spreewald.
Tropical Island – A tropical adventure close by. Tropical Island, Europe's largest tropical adventure and sauna world, offers a wealth of attractions just a stone's throw away. A white sandy beach, turquoise waters and Germany's largest water slide tower provide both action and relaxation. The indoor rainforest landscape and the 10,000 m² sauna and spa world are particularly impressive – an experience suitable for all age groups.
A day trip to the capital Berlin, which is only an hour's drive away, can be easily organised from the KNAUS Campingpark Lübben. Whether you are looking for historical sights, museums or shopping opportunities, Berlin offers a wide range of options that can be perfectly combined with a stay in the Spreewald.
The 260-kilometre-long Gurkenradweg (Cucumber Cycle Route) is an absolute must for cyclists. This cycle route takes you past cucumber fields, attractions and regional businesses that process the famous Spreewald gherkins. Along the way, cosy inns invite you to try the delicious Spreewald specialities and enjoy the regional cuisine – a perfect combination of activity and enjoyment.
