The KNAUS Campingpark Hennesee is located in the heart of the ‘Land of 1000 Hills’, nestled between the Arnsberger Wald and Homert nature parks. On the idyllic eastern side of Lake Henne is a beautiful bathing area with a sandy beach that guests can use free of charge. Here you can enjoy nature to the full, while the gentle sound of the water helps you to relax.
Lake Henne offers numerous activities for water sports enthusiasts: windsurfing, stand-up paddling, sit-on-top kayaking and fishing. The water sports opportunities are a real highlight for those looking for adventure and fun. Those who prefer a more leisurely pace can take a pleasant round trip on the MS Hennesee – tickets are available directly at the reception.
There's no chance of getting bored, even when the weather's bad: the camping park has a heated indoor pool with a sauna and an infrared cabin, which provide soothing relaxation. Here, guests can recharge their batteries and let their minds wander on cooler days.
During the main season, a colourful entertainment programme is available for our younger guests, while adults can get active on outdoor fitness equipment, playing beach volleyball or on the football pitch. A special highlight for the whole family is the nearby amusement park Fort Fun, which offers exciting experiences from April to October.
