Summer, sunshine, the Main River and plenty of good vibes: From 7 to 9 August 2026, Mainlände in Eibelstadt became a popular meeting place for everyone looking to enjoy a taste of summer right on their doorstep. As part of the Kultursommer Maindreieck cultural festival, visitors could look forward to a varied programme featuring open-air cinema, live music and surfing events.
Albatross Reisen was there too! We were delighted to display two of our construction fence banners at Mainlände, bringing a little bit of Albatross holiday feeling to Eibelstadt. We would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank the organisers of the Kultursommer Maindreieck for giving us the opportunity to be part of this fantastic event!
Anyone who knows Mainlände in Eibelstadt knows that you don't always have to travel far to enjoy a little holiday feeling. Located directly on the Main River, the area offers plenty of opportunities to spend a relaxing day by the water during the summer months.
The spacious bathing area along the Main River is perfect for cooling off on warm days, while sandy sections create a genuine beach atmosphere. The surrounding green spaces are ideal for soaking up the sun, enjoying a picnic or simply relaxing and taking a break from everyday life.
While the adults unwind, younger visitors can let off steam on the large playground. And if you'd rather get out on the water, you can rent a board from the SUP rental service and discover Eibelstadt from a completely different perspective.
If relaxing isn't quite enough, there is plenty of action to enjoy too. Olaria Surf is all about water sports. One of the highlights is surfing the wake behind an electric boat – a unique way to enjoy a little surfing feeling right in the middle of the Main River.
This makes Mainlände the perfect combination of relaxation and adventure: feet in the sand, sunshine on your face and a trip out onto the water in between.
The Kultursommer Maindreieck added an extra dose of summer atmosphere to this already beautiful location. Open-air cinema, live music and surfing events ensured there was plenty to see and do at Mainlände from Friday to Sunday.
It is precisely this combination of culture, sport, water and summer atmosphere that makes events like this so special. You can meet friends, get to know new people and enjoy a summer evening while the Main River flows peacefully alongside you.

The Kultursommer may be over – but the holiday feeling remains! Mainlände Eibelstadt is well worth a visit even when there isn't a special event taking place. Especially on warm summer days, it is a fantastic destination for families, friends, water sports enthusiasts or anyone simply looking for a little break from everyday life.
For us at Albatross Reisen, Mainlände is a real highlight in the region. After all, as a holiday company, we know exactly what a great holiday day should feel like – and sometimes you don't have to travel to the Adriatic or Lake Garda to find that feeling. Sometimes it is right on your doorstep.
