- Obligation to provide proof: All persons entering the country from the age of 12 must have proof of vaccination/convalescence or a negative test result (antigen test max. 48 hours, PCR max. 72 hours old on entry) upon entry (before crossing the border). Anyone who has stayed in an area classified as a virus variant area at the time of entry in the last 10 days before entering the country must have proof of a test upon entry (antigen test max. 24 hours, PCR max. 72 hours old on entry).
- Obligation to register: If you have stayed in an area classified as a high-risk area or virus variant area in the last 10 days before entering the country, you must register before entering the country at www.einreiseanmeldung.de in the entry portal of the Federal Republic of Germany and receive the confirmation carry.
- Quarantine period: After staying in a high-risk area, the quarantine period generally lasts 10 days (early free testing possible after 5 days), for vaccinated or recovered people the quarantine is completely omitted. After staying in a virus variant area, the quarantine generally lasts 14 days (also for vaccinated and recovered people).
